In our guidance classes we talk about taking care of our brain during times of stress (if we are mad, sad, or feeling overwhelmed), even if we are tired sometimes it can be good for us to switch modes and move our bodies and breathe.
YouTube and GoNoodle are two platforms that provide fun, short brain breaks.
A fun, child-oriented website that I like to use is, GoNoodle . You can create your own account and have free reign to body and brain breaks.
Some that I suggest are with "Maximo"- He takes the children through stretching positions and integrates breath.
